HB Markets, one of the City of London’s independent Stockbrokers, has vacancies for these roles within its recently created Wealth Management division. The division will offer private clients a range of fee based consultancy services along with discretionary fund management based on the twin aims of capital preservation and the achievement of attractive returns over time.
Potential candidates will be studying for or have recently qualified in one or more of the following:
- Investment Management Certificate/Chartered Financial Analyst (IMC, CFA)
- Certificate of Financial Planning / Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
- Chartered Financial Planner
And have interest in qualifying to Chartered status.
The roles will include the following duties:
INVESTMENT ADVISORS:- Promoting the services available, establishing new portfolios and nurturing the development of client relationships
- Conducting reviews of clients’ current portfolios, analysing information and designing financial strategies to support clients’ objectives
- Producing suitability reports
- Maintain detailed records for FSA and billing purposes
- Negotiating competitive terms with product suppliers and liaising with them in relation to day to day consultancy issues
- Some supervisory duties
- Other tasks as and when these arise which are deemed essential to the development of the business
